Baladický příběh scenáristy Vladimíra Körnera a režiséra Milana Cieslara o dospívající dívce Grétce ze slezského pohraničí, která se dostala do nacistického programu Lebensborn pro vyšlechtění čisté nordické rasy. Mladičká Grétka Weiserová (M. Hilmerová) je pod záminkou rentgenové prevence proti TBC poslána do lesního sanatoria Isolde. O svém poslání zprvu nemá tušení. Neví, že sítem pro převýchovu prošla přičiněním učitele, který jí chtěl po matčině smrti pomoci k lepšímu životu, a díky osudové náhodě, protože se narodila ve stejný den jako sám druhý muž Třetí říše Himmler. Společně s dalšími „vyvolenými“ dívkami zde prochází nacistickou výchovou, aby posléze zajistily hitlerovskému Německu rasově čisté potomstvo.
