Izraelský přistěhovalec Izak, který vyrůstal v temné čtvrti Tel Avivu ovládané mafií a zločinci, se s rodinou přestěhuje do Los Angeles, kde chtějí začít nový život. Izak si chce splnit svůj sen a stát se podnikatelem. Vše se začne ubírat k dobrému konci, když se zamiluje do krásné Aline. Bohužel vše není jak vypadá a svět zločinu ho znovu pohltí. Izak zjistí, že není tak snadné žít s čistým štítem.
