V dobe, kedy svet zasiahol smrtiaci vírus a liek ešte stále nebol úspešne objavený, mladý vedec menom Martin (Joel Fry) a miestna správkyňa parku Alma (Ellora Torchia) sa vydávajú do hlbokých lesov na dvojdňovú rutinnú obchôdzku skontrolovať rôzne vedecké zariadenia a prístroje. Natrafia pritom na dve podivné existencie obývajúce les a jeden kamenný artefakt, ktorý nie je zaznačený na žiadnych mapách, okrem starobylej knihy zo 17. storočia. Naša dvojica hlavných hrdinov si začne postupne všímať a uvedomovať podivné okolnosti, ktoré akoby im bránili opustiť les a vrátiť sa späť do tábora.
